Science Adventure Picture Story Godzilla (科学冒険絵ものがたり ゴジラ) 1954 This legendary manga came as a bonus supplement in the November 1954 issue of Omoshiro (with an On Sale Date of October 7th - meaning that it was released a full three weeks before the debut of the first Godzilla film). It features the first-ever cover appearance of Godzilla, with a story continued from the 16-page supplement in the October issue of Omoshiro. Story is by Godzilla writer Shigeru Kayama, with art by Godzilla's visual designer at Toho, Abe Wasuke. This copy has been 3rd party graded by Beckett, the leading manga grading company in the world, and has been certified as an unrestored 4.5. with off-white pages.
